From beer lovers to wine enthusiasts, or artists to basketball fans; April is your month to become excited for the warm weather and join in the community fun!



Eastside Welcomes the Final Four

Where: Eastside Restaurant     When:  April 5th - 8th  Cost:  FREE

Come join the Final Four celebrations at Eastside during their extended hours! From 11:00 am until 1:00 am, fans will be able to enjoy their delicious menu and creative cocktails while cheering on their favorite teams. Just blocks away from the stadium and right in the middle of all of the downtown celebrations, this is an exceptional spot to enjoy the game and a great meal!


Reese's Final Four Friday

Where: U.S. Bank Stadium     When:  Friday, April 5th  Cost:  FREE

The Twin Cities once again are welcoming a national sport competition, the Final Four College Tournament. Among the official basketball games, various events and activities will be offered to the public throughout Minneapolis. One such as open practices before the semifinal games begin. Whether you're a big basketball fan, or just enjoy participating within the community, The Final Four is an exciting to have featured in the Twin Cities!


Tip-Off Tailgate

Where: Nicollet     When:  April 5th - 8th  Cost:  FREE

As promised, the daily entertainment continues throughout the Final Four in Minneapolis! Festivities can be find in and all around Nicollet. Such activities include a ferris wheel, a performance by Fitz and the Tantrums, samples of food and beverages, game coverage, and much much more! This is sure to be a weekend to remember in the metro area!


Minnesota Craft Beer Festival

Where: Minneapolis Convention Center    When:  Saturday, April 13th  Cost:  $40

Calling all beer enthusiasts, this event is especially for you! With over 400 beers to taste from over 140+ state breweries, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The event will feature limited release beers, world class selections, unlimited pours, and live music. While all of the fun is going on, you can rest a sure that the proceeds are going to a great cause - the Twin Cities Habitat For Humanity's House that Beer Built. Year after year, this event is quick to sell out. We suggest to grab your tickets as soon as possible and start becoming excited to devour some delicious selections! 


Headflyer 2nd Anniversary

Where: Minneapolis Convention Center    When:  Saturday, April 27th  Cost:  Free

Our friends at Headflyer invite you to an inclusive celebration upon their two year anniversary! At this exciting event, individuals can expect for special beer releases, various games, lovely live music, and delicious food. They are promising that this year is bigger and bolder, creating for an exciting Two Year Birthday Party!

Twin Cities VegWeek

Where: Various Locations   When:  April 7th - 13th  Cost:  FREE

From plant lovers to individuals looking to become more educated on the vegan community, the Twin Cities is bringing you VegWeek! During this week, many fun and free events will be offered as well as learning opportunities. In the spirit of the topic, everyone and anyone is invited to pledge to seven days of plant-based eating and animal advocacy. You can sign up here to experience a temporary vegetarian or vegan diet! Upon signing up you'll receive daily support, nutrition tips, and animal stories through email. You'll also receive exclusive discounts to great vegan based restaurants such as Fig + Farro and J. Selby's. Throughout this week you'll be exposed to food, friends, and fun within the Twin Cities - creating a new perspective on the vegetarian and vegan communities!


Clink! sip + savor wine market

Where: Union Depot    When:  Saturday, April 27th  Cost:  $50

Come enjoy savor sips of local Minnesota wine while at this great sampling event! Located in the very charming and historic Union Depot, attendees may expect to enjoy delicious wines and ciders paired with various types of food. Each ticket will include a complete menu, educational sessions, and live music. As a take away, individual will be able to take their own personal tasting glass home with them! You must be 21+ to attend this event. This year is the 10th annual event of Clink! You won't want to miss this one!


Spring Art Crawl

Where: AZ Gallery    When:  Saturday, April 5th - 7th  Cost:  Free

Lowertown invites everyone to attend their First Friday of the Spring Art Crawl! Artists will be on display for the entire month, and specifically celebrated this exclusive weekend. Friday's event with include live music and the entire weekend will include creative fun. The AZ Gallery is open from 5:00 - 9:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am - 3:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Grab a friend and come enjoy some creative inspiration!



Craft Cocktail Class

Where: 6Smith   When:  Saturday, April 6th  Cost: $54

Ever wish to be able to enjoy your favorite cocktail at home? Or just looking for a way to impress your friends? 6Smith is excited to help teach you the way through their impressive craft cocktail class. Their personal mixologist will lead a class on how to create different signature cocktails. The class will be a mix of hands-on participation and demonstration. Upon ending the class, each attendee will receive a detailed recipe to help recreate while at home. Tickets may be purchased online, including drinks, tips, snacks, printed recipes and instructions. If you end up loving this class (which we think you will), then you can attend next month as well. 6Smith offers this course on the first Saturday of each month!


Easter Basket Baking Class

Where: The Cookie Cups   When:  Sunday, April 14th  Cost: $40

Easter is right around the corner and The Cookie Cups wants to help you learn how to bake up some delicious treats for any of your favorite holidays! Three baking flavors will be featured within this class: Carrot Cake Cookie Cups, Blueberry Cookie Cups, and Strawberry Cookie Cups. Individuals can expect to bake, frost, and decorate each of their cookie cups before placing them in their basket. Tickets may be purchased online and will include one basket per a ticket. This is great way to relax and enjoy some time with friends on a Sunday afternoon!
