Red, White, and Boom!

Where: Downtown Minneapolis Riverfront    When:  July 4th    Cost:  FREE

This event kicks off with an early-morning 5k, which is a great way to burn off all the food you'll eat throughout the day while celebrating the 4th! Later in the evening, you can head down to the Minneapolis riverfront to watch the firework celebrations, enjoy live music, and eat delicious food from the vendors that will be there. This event is the perfect way to spice up your 4th of July celebration this year!

 

Ramsey County Fair

Where: 2020 White Bear Avenue, Maplewood, MN 55109. Corner of Frost & White Bear Avenue.     When:  July 10th-14th  Cost:  FREE

Do you feel like your summer is missing that classic, small-town county fair experience? If so, then this event is for you! This county fair boasts being “a small town county fair in the middle of the big city,” and definitely provides this experience. Fried food? You got it! Live music? You betcha! Carnival rides? Absolutely! What more could you ask for? Bring cash for parking, food, and entertainment.

 

Isanti Rodeo Jubilee Days + Parade

Where: Isanti     When:  July 11th-14th  Cost:  FREE

Our friends in Isanti are hosting a parade as part of their Rodeo Jubilee Days, along with tons of other fun events. From turtle races, to petting zoos, to the Rodeo itself, you can be sure to find an event that you won't want to miss! Make sure stop by and check out the festivities.

 

Lakefront Music Fest

Where: Lakefront Park in Prior Lake    When:  July 12th & 13th  Cost:  $40-$90

Located in scenic Prior Lake, the music festival takes place over the course of two days with one day dedicated to rock music and the other to country. This year, the line-up features Brad Paisley and the Steve Miller Band, along with other big names such as Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Chris Lane. This music festival has been growing since it’s conception in 2010, and now over 20,000 people attend. Red Hot Arts Festival

Where: Minneapolis Convention Center    When:  July 13th and 14th  Cost:  Free

If you're looking for a way to support local artists and musicians, then this event is the perfect opportunity for you! This event is dedicated to the "DIY heart and soul of Minneapolis culture" and offers a platform for emerging artists to gain exposure. With a large variety of art to purchase and music to listen to, you won't walk away empty-handed if you come to this event!

 

Vegan Invasion: Food Festival & Drink Sampler

Where: Lake Monster Brewing Company   When:  July 14th  Cost:  $20-$45

The Twin Cities always offers an amazing selection of restaurants to customers, but it’s not every day that you can sample a large selection of vegan food from the Twin Cities' best restaurants all in one place! Whether you’re looking to sample beer, wine, or kombucha, Vegan Invasion is offering unlimited drink samples. Lowertown Blues and Funk Fest

Minnehaha Falls Art Fair

Where: Minnehaha Falls Park   When:  July 20th  Cost: FREE

This art fair is located in such a beautiful Minnesota location, with a majestic 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs, river overlooks, Sea Salt Eatery, and trails to explore. 2019 Twin Cities Bacon and Beer Classic

Where: CHS Field   When:  July 20th  Cost: $75-$89

Calling all bacon lovers! Do you ever wish you could add bacon to every meal? Now's your chance! Your ticket to this event will give you all-inclusive access to the best bacon-inspired dishes and desserts. Minneapolis Aquatennial

The Minneapolis Aquatennial is the official civic celebration of the City of Minneapolis. Basically, this is a four-day celebration for those who want to celebrate the beautiful city they live in. There are a wide varieties of activities for you to participate in, such as watching the parade or running in the 5k. There are also fireworks that round out the festivities.
